August may soon be coming to an end, but we have lots of car shows and cruise nights to look forward to throughout the rest of this month and right through September and October.
Now, there are a lot of cruise nights that we aren’t listing here. Instead, we’re reserving this list for car shows and cruise nights that take place on major weekends. If you’d like to see a full list of cruise nights, head on over to the Utah Car Czar website. They keep a great list!
August 20th & 21st, 2016
This coming weekend, August 20th and 21st, is a big weekend for car lovers around Utah. There’s the O’Reilly Auto Parts Car Show at O'Reilly's as well as the 8th Annual Village Inn Car & Truck Show at the Village Inn in Ogden, both on August 20th. There’s another 8th annual event too—the Stansbury Days Car Show at Stansbury Park, also on the 20th. Then there’s the Beanstock Foundation Charity Car Show and Music Festival, which looks to be a lot of fun in Deseret Peak, the Kruisers For Kids Charity Car Show in Midvale City Park in Midvale, and the 16th IMAFS Car Show at Redstone Center at Kimball Junction in Park City. If you’re near Escalante, head over to the Escalante City Park for Moqui Motor Madness. If you’re near South Jordan, the 18th Annual Car Show at the Legacy Retirement Center is worth checking out. And if Saturday the 20th isn’t busy enough for you, we have one more event in Ogden—Potter’s House 1st Annual Car Show at Potter's House Christian Center. We wish them luck at their first year event.
If you’re looking for a cruise night, choose from PostNet/Vision Integrators Cruise Night in Draper or the Springville Rotary Sunday in the Park in Hobble Creek Canyon.
August 27th & 28th, 2016
Round out August with some great events like the Cold Cones & Cool Cars event at Heritage Park in Kaysville, the Southeast Township Days Last Blast of Summer event at Big Bear Park in Sandy, the Copperton Town Days Car Show in Copperton Park, or the American Legion Post 112 Car Show. There’s also the Heritage Park Care Center Car Show in Roy, the Autos for Autism Car, Truck & Bike Show at Spectrum Academy in Pleasant Grove, Beriet’s Haunted Pinup Car & Bike Showat the Salt Lake County Equestrian Park in South Jordan, the Hagen Collision Car Show in Riverton, or the Bryce Canyon Fly-In and Car Show at the Bryce Canyon Airport. These are all on the 27th. So are the Sanpete County Fair Car Show at the Fairgrounds in Manti, and the Rawtin Garage Car Show at Willy's Garage in West Valley.
Labor Day Weekend, September 3rd, 4th, 5th, 2016
September is just around the corner! Consider checking out the Willard Round-Up in Willard City Park on the 3rd, the Pacifica Senior Living Car Show in Millcreek, or the 31st Annual Lagoon Fun Run (which includes cars) at the Lagoon in Farmington. The Ready 2 Go Expo Car will be at Thanksgiving Point in Electric Park in Lehi on the 3rd too.
We haven’t got any events on our radar for that Sunday, but I can’t think of a better way to spend Labor Day, Monday the 5th, than at the Payson Golden Onion Days at Park View Elementary in Payson or the Magna Labor Day Car Show in Magna Park.
September 10th & 11th, 2016
St. Joseph Catholic Church is having a Car Show in West Jordan on the 10th. There’s also the Aeroplanes, Trains, & Automobiles show at Spanish Fork Airport, or the 2nd Annual Blues Barbershop Car Show at Holladay City Hall. The Sandy City Heritage Festival is taking place in Main Street Park in Sandy that day along with The Good Old Days Car Show at the Ferron Fire Station in Ferron.
On Sunday the 10th, how about the Peach Days Car Show in Watkins Park in Brigham City? Or the Indian Summer Festival Car Show at the Veterans Park in Monticello? That night there’s the Freddy’s Steakburger Cruise night in WVC.
September 17th & 18th, 2016
This is going to be a great weekend for car shows. There’s the New Modern Muscle 2000 Car Show at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Ogden and the Melon Cruise at Book Cliff Elementary School in Green River. There’s also the St Mary’s Car, Truck & Bike Show in West Haven on the 17th. On the 18th, head to the Flat Iron Mesa Park in Sandy for the Salt City Tinners.
September 24th & 25th, 2016
On the 24th, the Advance Auto Parts Grand Opening Car Show will be held in Ogden, and the Red Rocks Car Show in Santa Clara. On Sunday the 25th, Ogden has the Season of Sundays.
October 1st & 2nd, 2016
